Audi

The Electric Festival was born from a winning international competition commissioned by Audi to support the launch of the e-tron, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle.

More than a traditional launch campaign, the proposal set out to redefine how electric mobility could be introduced to the public not as a technological shift alone, but as a cultural moment.

The Electric Festival launched with a landmark event at the Grand Palais, transforming one of the world’s most iconic cultural venues into a living manifesto for electric creativity.

This inaugural edition brought together technology, architecture, and contemporary art, positioning electric mobility not only as an innovation, but as a cultural force.

For this first chapter, Audi collaborated with internationally renowned artists whose practices explore data, perception, space, light, and narrative:

Ryoji Ikeda — data, sound, and large-scale audiovisual systems
Gabriel Orozco — conceptual and spatial interventions
Yoojin Chung — immersive digital environments
Bruce Munro — light-based installations
Chris Milk — interactive storytelling and experiential media

Together, these voices shaped an event where artistic experimentation met electric technology.
